A lookout point from which the view extends from the Ardèche to the Pre-Alps, Puygiron dominates the plain of the Valdaine. The village is home to a castle (12th century), a botanical garden and a 300-year-old white mulberry tree. In the heart of a lavender field stands the Saint-Bonnet chapel (12th century).

There are many benches where you can read or contemplate the Vivrais mountains to the east, the plain to the west. A great show every season.
