Description

More than one hundred years of traditional production
In 1920, Charlotte and Antonin Chambonnière, history buffs, founded the "Nougat Diane de Poytiers" factory. Duchess of the Dauphinois in the 16th century, Diane de Poytiers was, according to legend, one of the ambassadors of nougat. A street and a house from the 16th century still bear her name in the centre of Montélimar. Thinking that she would be a beautiful muse for their future nougat factory, Charlotte and Antonin decided to register her name as a trademark.

Thus began the story of a family of nougat makers in Montélimar, which has continued for four generations. Today, Charlotte's grandson, Frédéric Chambonniére, his son Théo Chambonniére and their team continue the tradition.
